Thunderbird
On Linux/Widnows Desktop and Android, we highly recommend Mozilla Thunderbird to send and receive e-mail.
Thunderbird is crosss platoform mail client from Mozilla. You can run Thunderbird on Windows, MacOS, Linux and Android.
Setting up your first mail account:
Install and start Thunderbird. You will be presented with the following screen.
Click and enter your e-mail id and password on the following screen:
Click Next. Your IMAP mail a/c should be properly setup now and you can enjoy using Thunderbird.
Setting up other mail accounts
You can use thunderbird to setup multiple IMAP mail accounts. They will all be listed in the left pan under their respective nodes.
To add a second mail account, right click on the root/node (the name of the mail account) in the left panel.
